Dear Sir or Madam: My husband and I are residents of Fishers, Indiana, and the proud parents of 2 military kids (Marine Daughter Veteran Intelligence & Army Son Active-Duty Tanker-2 Deployments). When they left home several years ago to serve our country, we decided to join the USO of Indiana as a way to honor our children’s service and to serve those that serve!! Since that time, we have been privileged to meet and serve hundreds and hundreds of soldiers from all over the country at the Camp Atterbury USO in Columbus, Indiana, the USO Center at the Indianapolis International Airport and at other military events around the state. The USO Centers serve as a “home away from home” for our troops and keep them connected to family, home and country through a wide variety of programs for the troops and their families. In fact, the 5 USO Centers in Indiana were honored to served over 127,500 troops in 2017! And we are expecting approximately 180,000 troops in 2018 to make use of our Centers here in Indiana!

The USO’s annual Five Star Gala will be held in Indianapolis on August 25th and is an event that honors extraordinary military men and women and raises funds to support our 5 Indiana Centers that serve our HEROES – the Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Coast Guard that put on the uniform every day and selflessly put their lives on the line to protect us and our great country! We are on the 2018 Gala Committee and are seeking sponsorships or silent/live auction items for the event (information attached). If you or your company could support the USO by being a sponsor or donating an auction item, we would be extremely grateful – my husband and I like to say that no donation is too small and we truly mean it!
